You continue to have access to the site after completing the on-line portion of the entry course.
  • Technical Level One offered by Baseball Ontario
  • Coaches must apply 30 days prior to the clinic in order to have the application approved by the City Parks and Recreation Commission. They will reimburse the coach for $45 and the GNBA will cover the balance. Coaches must submit to the GNBA

UMPIRES

Umpires are always needed for all divisions, both travel and house league. All umpires must attend a clinic EACH YEAR and pass a written test from Baseball Ontario if they want to umpire travel baseball. If you umpired last year, you will receive a phone call about the clinic. If you know any other boys or men interested in umpiring bring them along. Even during the season... if you think you might like to try umpiring please inform me because the GNBA always needs new umpires for all divisions. The GNBA also has a DVD library of Umpire videos which can be borrowed on a weekly basis.

Umpire Development Classes

In conjunction with the NBUA, the GNBA is offering weekly umpire development classes to sharpen skills before the season starts.

This is a great opportunity for new and experienced umpires of all ages.
